 The work of Katherine Keeling is alive and engaging, a reflection of the artist herself.  Residing in La Jolla, California, Katherine has carved a niche with unique color combinations and interesting subject matter.  Her passions often grace her paintings.  She derives her inspirations from music, joy of everyday activities and the rich landscapes of the places she has lived and visited.  Her emphasis is color and form, the mystical images that liberate the unconscious mind and embrace an abstract, passionate expression of feelings, mood and the spontaneity of romantic themes.

Having studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and the International School of Art in Italy, Katherine's solid education provides the foundation for her adventurous, often whimsical reflections of life.  Currently her work is on display in numerous select galleries in Southern California, as well as in private collections in Europe, Asia and the United States.
